Written in the months prior to the outbreak of Covid-19, Christina Sweeney-Baird imagines a world where a pandemic wipes out the vast majority of men. An intriguing premise when one considers how male-dominated industries, especially STEM and Defence, adapt in a world where they are very much needed, but have lost a large portion of their workforce.
