Queen of Nothing (The Folk of the Air #3) by Holly Black
What a send-off! This trilogy, with its ethereal fixtures and thorn-sharp characters, will be very hard to let go of. Black’s writing is immersive and present, allowing for a well-paced, undemanding reading experience. The whimsical, botanical nature of her world-building, along with stingingly-real dynamics, make the series incredibly easy to return to. A tightly-wound plot is expertly balanced over the three novels, so if you’re a fan of royalty, fantasy, or anything fae-related, I recommend starting right at the beginning, with The Cruel Prince. Perfect for ages 15+. Heloise
