Richard Woodman is an award-winning maritime author with two dozen novels and several works of maritime history to his credit. After spending almost forty years at sea he is a regular 'Quarterpoints' correspondent for Lloyd's List, the daily shipping newspaper. Richard is a member of the Honourable Company of Master Mariners, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society and the Nautical Institute, and an Elder Brother of Trinity House.
