Gladys Reynell is one of the most important figures in Australian art. She was trained by Margaret Preston in Adelaide, and both left Australia for Paris in 1912 to live the artisian life, absorbing the principles of French Post-Impressionism. An innovator in her field of artist-potter, and also supported by paintings, drawings and prints.
