Author description

Pierre-Henri Verlhac became an author and publisher after a career on both sides of the Atlantic as a media banker. Co-creator of the Life in Pictures series--and author of volumes on Paul Newman, Pope John Paul II, Grace Kelly, and the Kennedys--he is also a classical music photographer. He lives in Paris. Best-selling author Charles Higham served as a Hollywood correspondent for the New York Times for many years and is author of numerous books about movies, culture, and Hollywood. His book Kate: The Life of Katharine Hepburn is the definitive biography of the star. He lives in Los Angeles.
