One for the Road

Author(s): Janelle McCulloch

Travel

In need of inspiration - for work, life and love - two friends, an architect and a writer, set off in nervous search of America and all its cheesy, breezy, glossily glamorous, red-blue-and-white-striped charm. Armed with iPods full of classic seventies songs, the two embark on an Autumn odyssey in a Mustang called Sally, up and down the east and west coasts of America - a journey that takes them through the media, mayhem, architecture, A-listers and aesthetics of America. This is "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance"...without the motorcycles or the Zen. It is a tale of travelling through America in high heels.
