This dictionary takes children on a magical journey while at the same time developing early dictionary skills. It includes 2000 entries with clear and simple meanings given in full sentences. Parts of speech (word classes) are given in full as are all inflections. It includes grammar and language tips - word origins, rhyming words, synonyms and opposites and spelling help. Example sentences are taken from children's reading, including well-known nursery rhymes, fairy tales and songs. It has been tested with children and in schools.
