Kaari Meng is a world-renowned purveyor of French living. She runs a business selling vintage and new merchandise such as textiles, laundry products, home decor accessories, jewellery, stationery, notions, jewellery, and more that are sold online at www.frenchgeneral.com and in stores throughout the United States, Europe, and Japan. French General also offers services including custom upholstery, interior consulting, and period decorating. Kaari's home and shop have been featured in magazines such as Oprah, Martha Stewart Living, Mary Engelbreit's Home Companion, Country Living, and Romantic Homes. She has also designed jewellery for companies such as Anthropology and sold her jewellery to specialty shops around the world. In 2005, Kaari was invited by Hallmark to be a keynote speaker on colour and style trends.She lives with her husband and daughter in southern California. This is her first book with Chronicle.
