Author description

Sally Grindley has long been known as a writer of wonderful picture books for young readers and has also achieved recognition as a writer of powerful and gripping novels for older readers. Spilled Water won a Smarties Gold Medal, as well as other regional awards such as the Lincolnshire Young People's Award. Sally lives in Cheltenham. Barbara Vagnozzi lives in Bologna, Italy. She is the illustrator of many books for young readers, including Go Hare and Tortoise Go!, Run Little Chicken Run! and Two Little Dicky Birds: Two Little Puppy Dogs.
